How It Works

Single Item

With the AI Mockup Generator, you can easily design products by following the steps below:

1. Go to your Sales Order (or any form you have) > click on Edit item.
2. Then hover over the image and click on "Click to Edit."
3. Choose the product image you want to add mochup and click on "AI Configure."
4. Upload your artwork
5. (Optional) Choose a Proof Requirement:
   • None
   • Email Photo
   • Digital Photo
   • Pre Production
6. (Optional) Give any additional instructions like
   • “Make the lighting moody.”
   • “Place it on a wooden table.”
7. Click on Configure. Then you can:
   • Click close
   • Continue editing your product
   • Come back later to view the finished mockup“Save updates to decoration information”

Bulk Update

With Bulk Action, you can create mockups for multiple products in just a few clicks:

1. Go to your presentation or shops.
2. Select multiple products (Only Connected+ items)
3. Click AI Configure
4. Upload your artwork
5. (Optional) Choose a Proof Requirement:
   • None
   • Email Photo
   • Digital Photo
   • Pre Production
6. (Optional) Add notes or instructions
7. Click AI Configure

That’s it — the system will handle the rest.

Image & Decoration Options

Depending on your workflow, you may see different options when generating mockups.

• First Time Using AI Mockup on a Product
  
  If you’re using the AI Mockup Generator on a product for the first time, you’ll see two options:
  
  
  
  
  Save decoration information: Saves the decoration details to the Decorator section, and also adds the artwork under the Artwork tab.

   

  
  
  
  Create images only: Generates the mockup image only, without saving any artwork or decoration details.
  
  
  
  
  
  

• Reusing AI Mockup on an Existing Product
  
  If you’ve already used the AI Mockup Generator on a product and want to generate it again, you’ll see:
  
  Use these instructions: Applies the existing artwork and settings again.
  This updates the product image only — your artwork and decoration details remain unchanged.
  
  
  
  
  Override: Replaces the existing artwork and decoration details with the new file and settings you upload.

Once you click generate, the system will:

• Select the main product image
• Detect the best placement for your artwork
• Set the appropriate size
• Choose the best color based on contrast
• Determine the decoration method (e.g., screen print, embroidery)
• Apply the artwork to each product

Supported Products

This feature is available only for PromoStandards (Connected+) products.

Mixed Product Selection

If you select a mix of supported and unsupported products:

• Only supported products will be processed
• Unsupported products will be skipped

Example:
If you select 20 products and only 14 are supported:

• 14 products → mockups generated
• 6 products → unchanged

You’ll see a message explaining this before generating.

No Supported Products

If none of the selected products are supported:

• If you click the AI Mockups button at the bottom right of the page, you’ll see the following message:

Products Not Supported
Our AI generator only works with Connected+ products. You will need to manually edit these products.

What You’ll See

While Generating

• Products will show a “Generating…” status
• Processing happens automatically in the background

When Complete

• Mockups will replace the existing product images
• No page refresh is required

Why didn’t my artwork or decoration details get created?

Why didn’t my artwork or decoration details get created?

This usually happens based on the option selected when generating your mockup.

• If you’re working with a product that already has artwork or decoration details, make sure to select Override.
  Otherwise, the system will keep the existing artwork and won’t replace it.
• If you’re working with a product that doesn’t have any artwork yet, make sure to select Save decoration information.
  If you choose Create images only, the system will generate the image but won’t save any artwork or decoration details.

 

How long does it take to generate mockups?

AI mockups will be generated in 5-10 minutes, depending on the number of products.

 

Do I need to wait for the mockups to finish?

No. Mockups are generated in the background. You can continue working and come back later.

 

Can I use this for all products?

No. This feature currently works only with PromoStandards (Connected+) products.

 

What happens if I select unsupported products?

They will be skipped, and no mockups will be generated for them. You will see a pop up that shows items that are not supported.

 

Can I control placement, size, or decoration?

Not in this version. The system automatically determines these for you.

 

Can I give the AI specific instructions?

Yes! You can add instructions in the Additional Notes field.

Examples:

• “Make the logo larger and centered on the front.”
• “Keep the logo small and subtle on the left chest.”

Clear instructions usually produce better results.
