October 2026 - Updates to the Navigation Bar
Your navigation bar just got a fresh look with your global search, new projects and tasks in one place.
What's New
Here’s what’s changed:
- Global Search: Search commonsku from the top of any page.
- New Project button: Start a new project without leaving the page you’re on.
- Task Menu: See the tasks assigned to you, with new task notifications appearing right under your task list.
- Consolidated menus: Buttons that used to be spread across the top of the page now live in clear menus.
- Client Chat Bots: The button previously called Support Chat has been renamed Client Chat Bots. It now lives in your profile menu, above Settings.
The new navigation bar is available on all commonsku plans.
Why it Matters
The top of the page is where you start almost everything in commonsku, so it should get you where you’re going without making you hunt. With the refreshed navigation bar, you can:
- Find the things you use every day faster, from one consistent spot at the top of the page.
- Start a project or check your tasks from anywhere in commonsku.
- Spend less time hunting for buttons, now that they’re grouped into menus.
- Tell Client Chat Bots apart from commonsku’s support chat, thanks to its clearer name.
Getting Started
There’s nothing to set up. The new navigation bar appears automatically on your account.
- Use the search bar at the top of the page to find what you need.
- Click New Project to start a project.
- Open the Task Menu to see your assigned tasks and notifications.
- Open your profile menu to find Settings and Client Chat Bots.
