How to create a self-promo order
Creating a self-promo order is just as easy as making a sales order. The only difference is that you're the client!
To create a self-promo order:
- Add your company as a client and add yourself as a contact
- Create a sales order and the products you'd like to order
- When editing the products, enter net costs for the supplier/decorator POs, but change the retail price to $0
- Generate POs and submit them to suppliers as usual
- Create an invoice and log supplier bills as usual
Reporting
You can use the Sales Rep Report to track self-promo orders. You can either filter the report to show projects where your company is the client or use order tags to group your self-promo orders.
