The Community Newsfeed is a place where all commonsku users can post content and connect with other members of the skummunity. This feed is made up of distributors, suppliers, as well as your team members.

Ask for Ideas/Start a Discussion
Use the Ask for Ideas or Start a Discussion buttons to reach out to suppliers for product ideas, or ask other distributors for advice on best practices and processes.
To post on the newsfeed:
- Select either Ask for Ideas or Start a Discussion
- Compose your post
- Click Attach a Photo to add an image (optional)
- Click Post
commonsku Tip: Attach a photo to your message, so it's easier for suppliers to recommend products that match your needs, or tag (@ mention) a teammate if you'd like them to receive an email notification about your post or any comments added to the thread.
Comment on/like posts
You can comment on/like any post made on the Community Feed.
If the post has no previous comments:
- Select Comment under the relevant post
- Compose your message in the "Comment on this message..." field on the relevant post
- Click Post
To add a comment to a post that already has comments:
- Type your message into the Comment on this message... field
- Click Post
You can also "like" a post or comment made by another commonsku user by clicking the Like button next to the relevant post or comment.
Add recommended products to your projects
Suppliers can upload products directly to the Community Feed. You can select View Product for more details, or add them to an existing project.
To add these products to one of your open projects:
- Click Add to Project
- Search for the presentation/estimate/sales order you'd like to add the product to
- Click Add to Order

FAQ
Can I hide the Community Feed?
You can't hide the Community Feed. It will always be in Connect > Newsfeed.
Who can see my posts on the Community Feed?
The Community Feed is public and visible to all commonsku users. Any posts, comments, or "likes" will be visible to the entire skummunity. There is no way to hide posts or comments from the feed.
