Newsfeed filters

You can filter your Company Newsfeed by:

  • the type of post
  • the date the post was created

To use these filters, you can click on the Show or Time Period options and make your selections.

There are two types of posts:

  • Messages - posts that include any comments your team has made within the Company Newsfeed, or any notes/calls/meetings logged on a client or supplier's page.
  • Activity  - posts that include all other updates (listed above), rather than a direct message.

Ask for Ideas/Start a Discussion

Use the Ask for Ideas/Start a Discussion buttons to post a company-wide communication directly within this private newsfeed.

To post on the newsfeed:

  1. Select either Ask for Ideas or Start a Discussion
  2. Compose your post
  3. Click Attach a Photo to add an image (optional)
  4. Click Post

commonsku Tip: Be sure to @mention somebody if you'd like them to receive an email notification about your post or any comments added to the thread.

Add note/like/comment

You can interact with any post on your Company Newsfeed by clicking to CommentLike, Add note or click Full thread to see all previous comments on a post.

Deleting posts from the newsfeed

To delete a post from the project newsfeed:

  1. Find the post you need > Click Delete
  2. Click OK in the browser pop-up

The post will now be permanently removed from the Company Newsfeed.

FAQ

Who can see my Company Newsfeed?

Your Company Newsfeed is only visible to your teammates with an active commonsku license.

What activity appears in my Company Newsfeed?

Your Company Newsfeed automatically updates whenever

  • somebody creates a new presentation or estimate
  • a client approves a sales order
  • a client requests a change on a sales order
  • somebody moves a sales order into production (creates POs)
  • a client submits feedback
  • a note/call/meeting is logged in a client or supplier's page
  • somebody adds a product to your company database
