commonsku’s newest integration with ShipStation allows distributors to export their Sales Orders directly from commonsku to ShipStation with a few clicks, resulting in faster fulfillment.
What's New
commonsku’s ShipStation Integration lets you export your Sales Orders directly from commonsku to ShipStation in just a few clicks. Every order is tagged with a unique reference that automatically updates the existing ShipStation record when re-exported, and your team receives an email confirmation after each export, so you always know where things stand.
This feature is only available to customers on the Advanced or Enterprise plans. If you are interested in upgrading your plan, please contact our support team.
Why It Matters
Managing fulfillment across two separate platforms introduces real costs, such as time, accuracy, and your customer experience. Every time you manually export a CSV, reconcile a duplication, or re-enter a shipping address, you introduce steps that slow your team down and introduce errors that only surface when a shipment fails or a customer follows up. We introduced the ShipStation Integration to close the gap between order placement and fulfillment by keeping commonsku and ShipStation in sync automatically.
The result is cleaner data, a faster turnaround, and end-clients who receive their orders accurately and on time, without your team having to chase them down.
Getting Started
This integration is available to activate on Sales Orders, Pop-up Shops, or Connected Shops. To get started, make sure you have the following:
✅ An Advanced or Enterprise plan on commonsku
✅ An active ShipStation account on their Standard Plan or higher
As a reminder, if you are using this integration in a Pop-up Shop or Connected Shop, ensure that you’ve enabled “Collect shipping address at checkout” within your Shop’s settings.
In addition, Shipstation requires that you have both your shipping and billing addresses at checkout, regardless of whether you are on a Shop or a Sales Order, to use this feature.
