Tired of trying to find beautiful photos for your shops? You can now source high-resolution images from Unsplash's database to use in the design of your shops. 

What is Unsplash?

Unsplash is a leading online platform for high-quality stock photography. It contains an expanding library of over 5 million images contributed by a network of over 330,000 photographers. Unsplash is one of the largest and most dynamic online repositories of proprietary images.

commonsku users now have access to the Unsplash database when sourcing images for their shops design. The Unsplash library provides commonsku users with the ability to freely access, modify, distribute, and utilize its vast collection of photos, without requiring permission or attribution to either the photographer or Unsplash.

Where can I use Unsplash in commonsku?

The Unsplash database is accessible from the Design tab of your commonsku shops! 

Once you've selected your desired theme, you can click to change the banner image (for the Billboard, Featured, and Split themes) or the carousel image (for the Categories and Carousel theme) of the shop's landing page and click to source images from the Unsplash database!

How does the Unsplash integration work?

The integration with Unsplash is very easy to use! Simply select the Unsplash database from the upload image screen, and type in some search criteria.

If you need some inspiration, there are a few search prompts on the right-hand side of the window that you can click on to generate some quick results. You can also click on "Search Unsplash's massive free image library" on the left to be re-directed to their website if you'd like to complete a direct search. 

Once you find an image you like, simply click on it to add it to your shop's landing page. 

And that's it! You now have a beautiful image to use in the design of your shop, and all it took was a couple of clicks.
