FAQ

What are presentation styles?

Presentation styles offer different layouts for displaying products in your presentations. There are four styles to choose from:

  • Tiles
  • List
  • Gallery
  • Smart Gallery

PresStyle

You can set your team's default presentation style through your company settings under Setup. If you need to change a specific presentation style, select the style you'd like to use in the Defaults section for presentation.

PresDefault

The List style is the only presentation that can be sent as a PDF attachment; all PDF attachments default to List.

Tiles

The Tiles style displays each product in a thumbnail view. Clients can then toggle between up to three tabs within each product:

  • Information tab - displays the product's description and pricing label
  • Details tab - displays colors, sizes, and pricing information, including artwork charges
  • Images tab - displays any additional product images

You can view and add comments through any of the product tabs.

List

The List style displays each product's information in one spot rather than in separate tabs. Clients can leave comments on individual items while viewing the live version of the presentation.

PresList

List style presentations automatically change to Tiles style when previewed on a mobile device.

Gallery

The Gallery style displays all products on a single page. From there, clients can hover their mouse over a product for brief details or click on them for more information.

When your client hovers over the item, they'll see the

    • product name
    • price range (from lowest to highest quantity break)
    • price label

When your client clicks on a product, they'll see the

    • product name
    • product description
    • price label
    • pricing, including artwork charges
    • colors
    • sizes
    • comment button

Navigation

Gallery style presentations have some unique navigation features:

  • Clients can toggle between products by clicking the blue arrows on either side of the item they're viewing
  • Similar to a slideshow, clients can "play" the presentation by clicking the play icon in the bottom left corner
  • Clients can view the products by clicking the enlargement icon within an item

The mobile view of Gallery style still shows all products on a single page, but your client will toggle between the gallery (images), info (product detail), and comment tabs when they click on an item.

    Smart Gallery

The Smart Gallery style is identical to Gallery style, except it enables your client to place an order directly from the presentation. Your client will see an "Add to Order" button when they hover their mouse over a product and click on an item.

Once your client clicks the "Add to Order" button, they'll be prompted to:

    • Select a color from the drop-down menu
    • Enter a quantity beside the size(s) they'd like to purchase

From there, your client can add the item to their order and either submit their order or continue shopping. The order submission screen will require them to enter their email address before they can checkout; they can also add comments.

Once your client places an order:

    • The presentation will revert to Gallery style
    • The designed rep will receive an email notification
    • The presentation's status will change from New to Converted
    • A note gets logged in the project's overview, stating who placed the order, the date/time the order was placed, and any comments that were added
    • A sales order is created based on the client's order details

After that, you can update the order's details and edit products as needed.

Smart Gallery presentations are a one-time order option. Your client cannot create multiple sales orders from one Smart Gallery presentation.

    FAQ

What's the difference between PDF presentations and a live presentation?

Whenever you email presentations, you have the option to send them as a live link (appears in the message body) or as a PDF attachment (defaults to the List style). Live links allow your client to comment on and interact with the presentation, whereas the PDF version is a static document.

Do Smart Gallery presentations enforce minimum quantities?

Smart Gallery presentations don't enforce minimum quantities. The best practice is to emphasize minimums by including a note in the product's description or adding a price label. You will still be able to edit the products and enforce minimum quantities in the resulting sales order.
