Convert an opportunity to a presentation

To convert an opportunity to a presentation:

  1. In the opportunity > click Actions > Create Presentation

Create a presentation using your global search bar

To create a presentation using your search bar:

  1. Click the global search bar > New Project
  2. Enter the client's name, or click to + add new client > enter the new client's name > select their industry > click Create
  3. Add the project name
  4. Select an Event Type from the drop-down
  5. Select P (Presentation) as your Starting Stage
  6. Click Continue
  7. Select a client contact from the dropdown, or click + New Contact at the bottom of the drop-down to create a new contact
    1. If you are adding a new contact (optional):
      1. Enter all required contact details - required fields are indicated by a *
      2. Click Create
  8. Enter a budget for the order
  9. Select an in-hands date

Create a presentation using your Most Recent icon

To create a presentation using your Most Recent icon:

  1. Click the most recent icon > New Project
  2. Enter the client's name, or click to + add new client > enter the new client's name > select their industry > click Create
  3. Add the project name
  4. Select an Event Type from the drop-down
  5. Select P (Presentation) as your Starting Stage
  6. Click Continue
  7. Select a client contact from the dropdown, or click + New Contact at the bottom of the drop-down to create a new contact
    1. If you are adding a new contact (optional):
      1. Enter all required contact details - required fields are indicated by a *
      2. Click Create
  8. Enter a budget for the order
  9. Select an in-hands date
  10. Select a presentation style
  11. Click Select Products

Create presentation through the new Dashboards

To create a presentation from either your Sales, Production, Finance, or Management Dashboards:

  1. Click New Project in the top right corner.
  2. Select a pre-existing client from the drop-down list or click + New Client at the bottom of the drop-down to add a new client to commonsku
    1. If you are adding a new client (optional):
      1. Type the client's name
      2. Select their industry from the drop-down menu
      3. Click Create Client
  3. Enter a Project Name
  4. Select an Event Type from the drop-down
  5. Select P (Presentation) as your Starting Stage
  6. Click Continue
  7. Select a client contact from the dropdown, or click + New Contact at the bottom of the drop-down to create a new contact
    1. If you are adding a new contact (optional):
      1. Enter all required contact details - required fields are indicated by a *
      2. Click Create
  8. Enter a budget for the order
  9. Select an in-hands date
  10. Select a presentation style
  11. Click Select Products

Create a presentation through the Clients tab

To create a presentation through the Clients tab:

  1. In the Clients tab, click a client's name > select Actions > New Project
  2. Enter a Project Name
  3. Select an Event Type from the drop-down
  4. Select P (Presentation) as your Starting Stage
  5. Click Continue
  6. Select a client contact from the dropdown, or click + New Contact at the bottom of the drop-down to create a new contact
    1. If you are adding a new contact (optional):
      1. Enter all required contact details - required fields are indicated by a *
      2. Click Create
  7. Enter a budget for the order
  8. Select an in-hands date
  9. Select a presentation style

Create a presentation through a client's page

To create a presentation through a client's page:

  1. In the Clients tab, click a client's name > select Actions > Client Page
  2. In the client page, select Actions New  Project
  3. Enter a Project Name
  4.  Select an Event Type from the drop-down
  5.  Select P (Presentation) as your Starting Stage
  6. Click Continue
  7. Select a client contact from the dropdown, or click + New Contact at the bottom of the drop-down to create a new contact
    1. If you are adding a new contact (optional):
      1. Enter all required contact details - required fields are indicated by a *
      2. Click Create
  8. Enter a budget for the order
  9. Select an in-hands date
  10. Select a presentation style
  11. Click Select Products

FAQ

What if I created a presentation for the wrong client?
  1. Click Actions Copy Presentation
  2. Type the new client and project name
  3. Click Copy
  4. In the new project, go to the Overview tab > click the original presentation # as it appears in the project newsfeed > that will redirect you to the original project's Overview tab
  5. Copy/paste notes from the original project to the new project's overview
  6. Go back to the original presentation and click Actions > Delete Presentation
  7. Delete the project (Actions Delete Project)
