How to set/change a user's permissions
Permissions are set based on a user's role.
To assign/change a user's permissions:
- Click your Profile Icon (top right corner of commonsku) > Settings > Manage Users
- Confirm the user's assigned role (Accountant, Admin, Limited, Manager, Production, or Sales)
- Click Actions > Set permissions
- Select or deselect the checkbox to enable or disable the relevant permission under the user's role type
- Click Done
Users need permission to Manage users, billing, and company settings to make adjustments to permissions.

Create/Modify Orders
Allows users to create and edit opportunities, presentations, estimates, and sales orders. Users who do not have this permission can still view presentations, estimates, and sales orders.
Create/Modify Invoices
Allows users to create and work on invoices. Users who do not have this permission can still view their invoices.
Delete Orders
Allows users to delete any opportunity, presentation, estimate, or sales order. Users that do not have this permission can still restore deleted forms through the client's page.
Delete Invoices
Allows users to delete invoices. Users that do not have this permission can still restore deleted invoices through the client's page.
Unlock Orders
Allows users to unlock a sales order or invoice. Sales orders lock when an invoice is created, and invoices lock when the invoice is marked as "Paid."
Create/Modify Account
Allows users to create and edit client accounts. Users that do not have this permission can still view client accounts.
Create/Modify Suppliers
Allows users to create and edit supplier accounts. Users that do not have this permission can still view supplier accounts.
Delete Account
Allows users to remove/delete client accounts. Users that do not have this permission can still restore deleted client accounts.
Delete Suppliers
Allows users to remove/delete supplier accounts. Users that do not have this permission can still restore deleted supplier accounts.
Make Products Inactive
Allows users to make your team's custom products (products from your company database) inactive. Deactivating a product will not affect existing orders; it will remove the product from future search results.
Create/Edit/View/Delete Commissions
Allows users to view, modify, create, and delete their team's commissions. Users that do not have this permission can still view their commissions.
Create/Modify/Delete Purchase Orders
Allows users to create, send, regenerate, and delete purchase orders and proofs. Users that do not have this permission can still view purchase orders.
Create/Modify/Delete Bills
Allows users to create, edit, and delete supplier bills. Users that do not have this permission can still view supplier bills.
Manage Users, Billing, and Company Settings
Allows users to make changes to the Manage Users, Billing, and Company Settings tab.
View Reports for All Users and Groups
Allows users to view reports, including all reports available and projects/tasks from the Projects tab, for all users and teams in their company. Users that do not have this permission can still view their reports.
View Reports for your Groups or Group Members
Allows users to view reports, including all reports available and projects/tasks from the Projects tab, for their group(s).
Create/Modify/Delete Shops
Allows users to create, edit, and delete commonsku Shops. Users that do not have this permission can still view shops.
Modify Client Rep
Allows users to set/change a project's client rep. Users that do not have this permission can still change the client rep on a client's page. Allows users to preview client portals.
Limited Access
Limits users from accessing:
- Clients and orders where they are not assigned as the client rep
- commonsku's mobile app
Users with this permission can still view a complete list of your team's clients through the Clients tab.
Restricted Access
Restricts users from accessing:
- Global search bar
- Dashboard search bar
- Connect tab's Company Newsfeed
- Dashboard's Company Newsfeed tile
- Client pages, unless they are the client rep
- Newsfeeds on supplier pages
Export Report
Allows users to export reports to QuickBooks Online, Xero, custom webhooks, and CSV/XML files, including Pop-Up Shop's CSV exports.
Modify Sales Target
Allows users to modify a rep's sales targets.
Apply/Remove Credit Hold
Allows users to apply or remove a credit hold from a client page.
Create Tags
Allows users to create, delete, and merge any company tags from the Tags tile in your company settings.
Manage Inventory
Allows users to enable and update inventory in Company Shops.
Manage Decorator Matrix
Allows users to create and update their Decorator Matrix.
Dashboard related permissions
View Sales Menu
Allows users to access the Sales tab and sub-tabs within the Sales tab, including the Sales Dashboard, Projects, Clients, Shops, and Sales Analytics.
View Production Menu
Allows users to access the Production tab and sub-tabs within the Production tab, including the Production Dashboard and Production Report.
View Finance Menu
Allows users to access the Finance tab and sub-tabs within the Finance tab, including the Finance Dashboard, Billing, Invoicing, Work in Progress, and Finance Analytics.
View Management Menu
Allows users to access the Management tab and sub-tabs within the Management tab, including the Management Dashboard and Management Analytics.
Default Menu
The default menu is the menu that populates when a user logs into commonsku. The Default Menu permission allows Admins to assign a role-based default menu to direct their reps' attention to a particular Dashboard. For example, the Sales Role should have the Sales Menu assigned as the default menu.
